The Beliefs of Khomeni the Leader of the Iranian Revolution

  • Nuri Tibiris, one of the most renowned Shi’ite scholars and mujtahids, wrote a book against the present Quran. The book is entitled: ‘Faslul Khitab Fi Tahreefi-Kitabi Rabbil Arbaab’ (The Final Verdict on the Distortion of the Book of the Lord of Lords).
  • Khomeini mentions this scholar with great respect in his own book ‘A1Hukumatul Islamiyah” (The Islamic State). In fact, Khomeini has actually used Nuri Tibiris’s work entitled “Mustadrakul Wasail” to complete his theory of Wilayatul Faqih.

[Wilayatul Faqih is the Islamic jurist's right to overrule a ruling that contradicts Islamic law.]

  • Khomeini writes about Hazrat Abu Bakr and Hazrat Omar (R.A.):

“Those people who, in their envy to rule, attached themselves to the Deen of the Prophet (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) and formed their own cliques could not possibly refrain from their actions on the bases of Quranic advice. They had to materialise their aims at any cost.” (Kashful Asraar: 114)

  • He also writes:

‘Those who had no affiliation with the Quran and Islam except through their desire for the world and power. They had made the Qurun a vehicle to promote their agenda. (Ibid)

  • In his book Kashful Asraar, Khomeni has dedicated a whole chapter to Hazrat Abu Bakr’s opposition to the Quran and another chapter to the Omar’s opposition. (Ibid: 114 & 117)

He has then continued to write a chapter on how to answer the critiques of the Ahlus Sunnah W’al Jama’ah with the heading: “An eye on the answers of the foolish.” (Ibid: 120)

  • Khomeni writes about Hazrat Uthman (R.A.):

“We worship and recognise only that God Whose actions are based on concrete rationalism and Who does not rule against that rationalism. We do not worship a god who creates a building for Divine worship and justice and then strives to destroy that very building himself by giving authority to rascals like Yazid, Mu’awiyah and Uthman”. (Ibid: 107)

These are but a few selected views of Majlisi, Maqbool Dehlavi, Noori and Allamah Khomeini, the leader of the Iranian Revolution. These have been presented to you without any critique or commentary. The reader should.judge for himself how much he can accept these beliefs. The reader should also ask himself if the rise of Khomeini in Iran was a political revolution or whether he had an agenda to propagate the Shi’ite beliefs. Or whether it was a challenge to all of the Muslim world, or a threat to the bonafides of the beliefs of Sunnis.

KHOMEINI’S DECLARATION

“The Islamic and non-Islamic powers of the world will not admit our power till such time that we establish our hold over Makkah and Madinah because these are the centers and citadels of Islam. Hence our domination over these places Is an essential requirement … when as a conqueror I will enter Makkah and Madinah, the first thing to be done at that time by me would be to dig out two idols (Abu Bakr and Umar) lying by the side of the Prophet’s grave.”

This statement mirrors the attitude of hatred and contempt which Khomeini and his Shiahs cherish in particular for Ameerul Mu’mineen Sayyidina Abu Bakr and Ameerul Mu’mineen Sayyidina Umar (Radiallahu Anhuma), and about all the Sahabah (Radiallahu Anhum) in general. While this is the vile and abominable attitude of Khomeini towards the illustrious Sahabah (Radiallahu Anhum) of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam), the Qur’an-e-Kareem states the attitude of Imaan in the following words:

“Muhammad is the Rasool of Allah, and those who are with him (i. e. the Sahabah) are stern against the kuffar and tender among themselves. You will see them (the Sahabah) in Ruku’ and Sajdah searching for the grace of Allah and (His) Pleasure. Their sign is on their faces because of the impression of (abundance of) Sajdah… “ (Surah Fath).

Most certainly, Allah was well pleased with the Mu’mineen (i.e. the Sahabah) when they took the oath of allegiance to you (0 Muhammad!) under the tree… (Surah Fath)

“And the early ones, the first one among the Muhajireen and Ansar and those who follow them (the Muhajireen and Ansar) in virtue, Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Him. Allah has prepared for them gardens beneath which flow rivers; therein will they dwell forever. Indeed, that is the great victory. ” (SurahTaubah)

This is what the Qur’an says regarding the Sahabah, but the Shiah priests brand the Muhajireen and Ansar as kafir, murtad and munafiq! Nauthubillah!

And, Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said about the Sahabah:

“Fear Allah! Fear Allah regarding my Sahabah. Thus, whoever loves them, does so because of my love; whoever hates them, does so because of my hatred.”

It is thus abundantly clear that Khomeini cherishes a dislike, an aversion, a hatred for the Sahabah because of his hatred for Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). The closer a Sahaabi was to Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam), the viler the abuse and the greater the enmity the Shiahs demonstrate for him.

The noble Sahabah (Radiallahu Anhum) are the foundation and the pivots of Islam. The entire basis and superstructure of Islam have been magnificently raised on the teachings, explanations and expositions of the Sahabah (Radiallahu Anhum). The Qur’an Majeed itself has been authentically and authoritatively transmitted to the Ummah down the centuries in the form presented by the illustrious Sahabah - by Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthmaan (Radiallahu Anhum), the prime targets of Shi’i and Khomeini vituperation.

An abundance of Shi’i propaganda on the instructions of Khomeini is being churned out by Iran. Such propaganda conducted under hollow and hypocritical slogans such as (There is no Shi’ism and no Sunnism), is designed to mislead the Ummah of Islam into acceptance of the Shi’i religion. Ignorance of what Shi’ism is, has constrained many Muslims to incline towards Khomeini and Shi’ism. But, it shall, Insha Allah, be shown
that the vociferous “Islamic” slogans trumpeted by Khomeini and the Shi’i priests are mere outer and superficial facades behind which lurk the darkness of kufr. In fact, the intensity of Khomeini’s and Shiah kufr is worse than the kufr of the Qadianis and other baatil sects since the Shi’i religion is reared on hatred for the Sahabah (Radiallahu Anhum). Without such hatred, there is no Shi’ism. Hatred for the Sahabah, which is an overt and conspicuous facet of Shi’ism, is a doctrine of fundamental importance in the Shiah religion. It is inconceivable to be a Shiah without subscribing to the doctrine of aversion for and vituperation of the noble Sahabah (Radiallahu Anhum) of Rasulullah
(sallallahu alayhi wasallam).

To open the eyes of the Sunni brethren of ours, who have been deceived by Khomeini’s propaganda machinery, we shall present here the views of the Shi’i religion - views and statements extracted from the authoritative books of theology of the Shi’i
religion………………….

Khomeini’s ‘goats’ more superior to the Sahabah:

Trying to instill a sense of inferiority in others in order to highlight the virtues of another, a technique called ‘example by debasement,’ is a tendency of many. Whilst some do this to maybe, through invoking jealousy, get a truant brother to follow in the footsteps of his bigger more well-behaved brother, the Shi’ahs do this in order to claim their place (if any) amongst the Muslims of the world. By doing so, the virtues of those who are compared is lost, their good points too, lose all appeal, and all focus and excellence is shifted to the one who is compared to.
Khomeini is no different. Trying to stifle opposition from the local clerics and mullahs after the revolution, he compared them to the ‘local Iranian people, who, had it not been for their oppression, the army would not have been victorious in war.’ Khomeini then used his tactic of debasement; and as usual, the noble Sahabah were the victims.
He said:

“Today, the volunteers wanting to go to the battlefields embrace martyrdom in such a whole-hearted way that this was unprecedented even during the period of the Prophet Muhammad and Hazrat ‘Ali. It is mentioned in Qur’aan that when the Prophet used to invite people to war, they did not obey and were providing excuses to postpone the event for another day, or talked of either cold or hot weather.” (Tehran Times, vol III no: 222, March 11, 1982)

If the Sahabah did not support the Holy Prophet (SAW) in his campaigns, how it is that when Sayyidina ‘Ali came to power, he found a kingdom stretching from Madinah as far as Jerusalem to the west, Azerbaijan tot he East, and practically the whole of north Africa at his feet?

Khomeni’s View Of The Sahabah:

In his book, Kashful Asrar, on page 115 Khomeini accuses Hadhrat Abu Bakr and Hadhrat Umar (Radiallahu Anhuma) of having opposed the clear texts of the Qur’an. Thus he says:

“We shall present a few examples of Abu Bakr and Umar having opposed the explicit laws of the Quran and deciding against it. The general body of the Muslims accept their decisions (which were in conflict with the Quran). “

On page 119 of his book, Khomeini openly brands Hadhrat Umar (Radiallahu Anhu) as a kafir and zindeeq. Khomeini states:

“From the examples of Abu Bakr’s and Umar’s opposition to the Qur’an, cited by us, it is clear that contradicting the Quran publicly and adopting actions in violation of the Quran were not regarded as a serious matter by these two. The Muslims of that time (viz. the Sahabah) either joined their (Abu Bakr’s and Umar’s) party in the quest for Political leadership which was their goal, or if they did not join their Party because of not fully supporting them, they never said a word in opposition to those unjust oppressors and powerful munafiqs (referring to Hadhrat’s Abu Bakr and Umar). They lacked the courage for this…

Abu Bakr who had plotted the whole conspiracy would have fabricated a hadith in contradiction to the Quran just as he had done for depriving Hadhrat Fatimah of her share of inheritance in the estate of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). And Umar - it is entirely to be expected that he would have said that either Allah Himself erred in revealing this ayat or Jibraeel or Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) erred in its delivery. At that time Sunnis would also have supported him and would have aided him in opposition to the command of Allah … just as is their
attitude in all these alterations which Umar effected in the Deen of Islam and its teachings. In all these (alterations of Umar) the Sunnis accorded priority to the statements of Umar in opposition to Qur’anic ayat and
statements of the Rasool of Allah and that is exactly what they (Sunnis) are following. “

These are the claims and allegations of Khomeini who vociferously and deceitfully, raises the slogan: “There is no Sunni’sm and no Shi’ism.” In the above “tract from his book, Kashful Asrar, it is abundantly clear that Khomeini is echoing the following Shi’i beliefs:

*That Hadhrat Abu Bakr, Umar and the entire body of the Sahabah were murtads and munafiqs.

* That Hadhrat Abu Bakr and Umar interpolated in the Qur’an, changing and deleting to suit their whims and desires. They fabricated and forged ahadith in conflict with the Qur’an.

The logical conclusion emanating from these Shiah beliefs is that the Qur’an which we have with us today is not authentic since it was the compilation of these very Sahabah who are regarded as munafiqs by Shi’ism. Besides this fact stemming as the logical conclusion from Shiah beliefs, the highest books of the Shiah religion categorically assert the falsity of the present Qur’an. Insha’Allah, this claim will be described later.

Abu Hurairah (Radiallahu Anhu) is a famous name. This illustrious Sahaabi of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) is well-known for his copious narration of ahadith. Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) made special dua for Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (Radiallahu Anhu), but Khomeini has the following to say about this eminent Sahaabi and Muhaddith:

“God knows what Misfortunes Islam has Suffered from its inception down to the present at the hands of these evil ‘ulama’. Abu Hurairah was one of the fuqaha, but Allah knows what judgments he falsified for Muaawiya and others like him, and what damage he inflicted upon Islam - But when a faqih like Abu Hurairah or a judge like Shurayh joins such a government, he improves its standing while besmirching the reputation of Islam.”

Commenting on this statement of Khomeini, Hamid Algar the compiler of Khomeini’s writings and declarations, states:

“Shi’i scholars have regarded him as unreliable and even dishonest.”

But, Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) made special dua for Abu Hurairah in respect of narration of ahadith, hence we observe the ahadith in abundance narrated by him. The following statement bears out the love which Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) had for Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (Radiallahu Anhu).

“O Allah! Endear this, your servant (Abu Hurairah) and his mother to your believing servants and endear the believers to them.” (Muslim)

Thus those who are Believers love Abu Hurairah (Radiallahu Anhu). Those who are unbelievers detest Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (Radiallahu Anhu).

Khomeini, slandering the eminent Sahaabi, Hadhrat Samura Bin Jundub (Radiallahu Anhu) says:

“Dissemination of the ordinances of Islam, as well as the teaching and instruction of the people, is the duty of the fuqaha who are just. For if they are not just, they will be like those who forged traditions harmful to Islam, like Samura ibn Jandab, who forged traditions hostile to the Commander of the Faithful.”………..

SHIA SLOGAN OF FALSEHOOD:

Khomeini’s popular slogan is: “NO SUNNI’ISM AND NO SHI’ISM”. This overt call of the Shi’i priests is designed for the consumption of Sunni Muslims who constitute the Ummah of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam).

However, like numerous verbal professions of the Shi’i priests are based on their doctrine of Taqiyah, so too, is this vociferous slogan of “No Sunni’ism and No Shi’ism.” (Taqiyah is the Shiah doctrine of holy hypocrisy by which it is permissible for them to conceal their true beliefs and profess verbally what they do not believe). How is it possible for there not to be Sunni’ism? And, how is it possible for there not to be Shi’ism? The foundation on which Sunni’ism is reared is Love for the Sahaabah of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) while the cornerstone of Shi’ism is Hatred for the Sahaabah. The two religions, viz., Islam and Shi’ism are irreconcilable opposites. The one repels the other. The slogan of Khomeini is nothing other than a piece of political trickery to gain the support of the Ahle Sunnah for the fulfillment of his despicable motives of political power. A group which pours out such extreme hatred for the Sahaabah of Nabi-e-Kareem (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) as the Shiah sect, can never stand on the same platform as those whose article of faith includes Love and respect for all the Sahaabah. Shiahs who proclaim that the highest among the Sahaabah were murtads and kafirs can never themselves be Muslims. Such vile claimants can never be the friends of those who follow the Path of the Sunnah, the Path of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) and the illustrious Sahaabah.

Khomeini stated in a message for a youth rally:

This attitude of Khomeini is not only his personal belief and personal hatred for the greatest ‘Sahaabah, but it mirrors the belief of Shi’ism regarding Hadhrat Abu Bakr Siddique and Hadhrat Umar (Radiallahu Anhu). In the books of Shi’i theology, the following noxious beliefs are propagated:

* When Imaam Mahdi appears, he will order the exhumation of the bodies of Hadhrat Abu Bakr and Hadhrat Umar. Their bodies will be hung on a tree for public show. Their bodies which even according to Shi’ism have not decomposed, will be stripped of their kafan. Thus, the nude bodies of these noble Sahaabah will be put up for a disgraceful show.

* Imaam Mahdi will restore Hadhrat Abu Bakr and Hadhrat Umar to life.

* The sins of entire mankind, right from the inception of the world until the time of Imaam Mahdi’s appearance, collectively devolves on these two noble Sahaabah. Hence, Imaam Mahdi will put them to death. They will then be revived and death will continuously be inflicted on them a thousand times daily, forever and ever. These corrupt and vile allegations are stated in the Shi’i book, Haqqul Yaqeen, the author of which is among the highest Shiah theologians, Mullah Baqir who is also the author of another book Zaadul Ma’aad which likewise contains many vile fabrications about the Sahaabah. In his book, Zaadul Ma’aad, Mullah Baqir asserts that:

* Hadhrat Umar, the second Khalifah of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam), was a kafir. (Nauthubillaah!) Not only a kafir, but the leader of the munaafiqeen.

* Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) had cursed Hadhrat Umar and had prayed for his destruction. As a result of the la’nat (curse) which Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) and Hadhrat Faatimah (Radiallahu Anha) invoked on Umar (Radiallahu Anhu) he was murdered by the kafir Persian, Lu’lu’.

* The murderer of Hadhrat Umar (Radiallahu Anhu), by virtue of having murdered Hadhrat Umar, deserved the mercy of Allah, hence, Hadhrat Huzaifah (according to Shi’i falsehood) prayed for Allah’s Rahmat to be on the kafir, Lu’lu’, the murderer of Hadhrat Umar (Radiallahu Anhu).

* The most auspicious day in the year is the day Hadhrat Umar (Radiallahu Anhu) was murdered and the virtues and excellencies of this day stem from the murder of Umar. In honor of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi Wasallam) and Hadhrat Ali (Radiallahu Anhu), Allah Ta’ala annually-grants Shiahs three consecutive days in which they are permitted to sin freely. The Recording Angels are instructed to cease recording sins on these three days commencing on the day Hadhrat Umar (Radiallahu Anhu) was murdered. Three free days of sinning are among the ways of rejoicing the murder of Umar (Radiallahu Anhu).

* Hadhrat Umar (Radiallahu Anhu) altered the Qur’aan Shareef and prevented others from Islam.

These corruption’s as well as many other falsehoods are imputed by the Shiahs to Hadhrat Umar, the man about whom Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “If after me there had to be a Nabi, It would have been Umar.” “the most resolute in the Law of Allah is Umar”. But, Shi’i priests shout: “No Sunni’ism and No Shi’ism.”

Muslims should not allow themselves to be deluded by the slogans of the Shi’i priests. Such slogans are motivated by a lust for political power. In his futile attempts to seek fulfillment of his dreams to rule the World of Islam, Khomeini strives to lure and dupe Sunni Muslims into his camp, for he is fully aware of the fact that minus Sunnis there is no Ummah, no Islam and no Islamic history. All Muslim lands barring Iran, are Sunni lands. Without Shiahs, Islam exists, since Shi’ism is a religion at variance with Islam. But, without Sunnis there is no Islam, for the only true Islam is the Deen followed by the Ahle Sunnah Wal Jama’. Khomeini understands this much, hence he seeks to woo the Ahle Sunnah by means of his hollow and insincere slogans of “No SHI’ISM and no SUNNI’ISM”. But this slogan is raised under cover of the confounded Shiah doctrine of Taqiyah (holy fraud and holy hypocrisy).

Khomeini’s Criticism:

“A certain person asked the Caliph (Abu Bakr) a point of law and he was unable to answer; he was therefore unfit for the position of a leader and successor to the Prophet. Or again, a certain act he perform was contrary to the laws of Islam, hence he was unworthy of his high post.” (Writing and Declarations of Khomeini)

In an annotation on this statement, Hamid Algar, the compiler of Khomeini’s writings and speeches, says:

“The reference here is to certain shortcomings Shias have traditionally perceived in the exercise of rule by Abu Bakr. “

The Shi’i theologian, Tabatabai, accusing Hadhrat Abu Bakr (Radiallahu Anhu) of having greater concern for Zakaat than the institution of Khilafate says:

“Surely the problem of the legitimate caliphate was more important and significant than tithes (Zakaat), and Shi’ism believes that the same principle applied by the first caliph to this matter should have been applied by the whole early community to the problem of succession to the Holy Prophet. “

This reflects the Shi’i belief that Hadhrat Abu Bakr and Hadhrat Umar along with the general body of Sahabah (Radiallahu Anhum) usurped the Khilaafat which according to the religion of the Shias was the inherent and divine right of Hadhrat Ali (Radiallahu Anhu). Here the Shi’i priest, Tabatabai accuses Hadhrat Abu Bakr of having denied Hadhrat Ali his legitimate rights. He further alleges that Hadhrat Abu Bakr and the Sahaabah (Radiallahu Anhum) accorded no concern to the question of the appointment of the Khalifah and that they violated the Shariah in installing Hadhrat Abu Bakr (Radiallahu Anhu). The Shi’i belief in regard to the Khilaafat after Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) is that the Sahaabah failed in applying the principle of ‘truth and justice’ because they accepted Hadhrat Abu Bakr (Radiallahu Anhu) as the Khalifah of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam).

FALSE ALLEGATION:

In another crude aspersion cast against the mission of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam), the Shi’i priest, Baqir Sadr states:

“Everything that has gone before Proves that the instruction given by the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) to the Muhajirun and the Ansar did not reach a level which would have been necessitated by the conscious, intellectual and political preparation required to guide the future path of the Da’wa and the process of change which had been instigated by the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam).”…

The height of frenzy occurred at the gravesite itself. Bringing the body by land vehicle was out of the question, so it arrived by helicopter. The first time the helicopter landed, the crowd swarmed in and grabbed pieces of the shroud, causing the corpse actually to fall to the ground. After fifteen frantic minutes, the coffin was put back on the helicopter, which then bore the body away. In an attempt to thin out the crowd, it was announced that the funeral had been postponed by a day. The trick worked, as many went home. Then, six hours after the first attempt, a second effort at a helicopter landing was made. This time more guards were around and the body was placed in a metal casket. Still, it was not easy. As the Iranian news agency described it: “The grave was only ten meters away but the pushing and shoving of thousands made it seem like kilometers. It took ten terrible minutes to be able to put the casket down near the grave.” Once the body had finally been buried, concrete blocks were placed on top of it.

Promises of Ayatollahs: On the very day [Ayatollah Ruhollah]Khomeini returned to Iran after exile [in 1979, before he led the Islamic revolution that brought fundamentalist Muslims to power in Iran], he made a speech in Tehran’s main cemetery. In this speech, Khomeini promised free telephone, heating, electricity and bus services.

Khomeini accredited these words to Ali (ra): “I was present with (all) prophets in elusive form but (my presences) was manifest with Messenger of Allah.”

And commenting under the aya (He regulates all affairs, explaining the Ayat in detail, that you may believe with certainty in the meeting with your Lord – Surat Ar-Rad : 2) he (Khomeini) said: Your Lord who is the Imam.

In short he says: It is not Shirk to ask prophets and Imams for your needs unless you believe them to be gods. Likewise, it is not shirk to ask stones for need, even if that action was wrong (it is not shirk).

It is impermissible for nieces to marry their uncles (husband of their aunties) except after the consent of aunties. But it is permissible for aunties to marry husbands of their nieces without their consent (consent of nieces).

Mut’ah is permissible with prostitutes, it is permissible for a man to lay down conditions for approaching her in day or night, also laying conditions for the number of times with its length (time period of Mut’ah –i.e. for a day, week, year etc) .

The Muslims (Sahaba-e-Kiraam) were also in such a state that they were either part of the same group (Abu Bakr - radi Allahu anhu - and Umar -radi Allahu anhu) or they had similar intentions of becoming the government in power.

“Abu Bakr (radi Allahu anhu), who had harboured pre-meditated plans, if anything, would have falsely forged a Hadith to put an end to this matter, just as he had done so to prevent Hazrat Fathima (radi Allahu anha) from receiving her inheritance. And it was not impossible for Umar (radi Allahu anhu) in the matter regarding the Imaamat and Khilaafat of Ali (radi Allahu anhu) to negate such a verse (regarding the Khilaafat of Ali - radi Allahu anhu) either by saying that there was a mistake in Allah’s Revelation of the Ayah, or that Gibraeel had erred in transmitting (Allah’s Message) correctly to Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam).”

KHOMEINI ON QURAN IN HIS “KASHFUL ASRAR”
“TAHREEF (deliberate alteration of words to change the meaning of the holy books, namely, the Bible, etc.) is that fault which Muslims accuse Jews and Christians of indulging in, has proved to be found in the Ashaabs (of Rasoolullah - sallal laahu alaihi wasallam).”

“It was easy for the Ashaabs (of Rasoolullah - sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) to remove verses from the Holy Quran and deliberately add verses to it, and in this way forever concealing from the people of the world the true Quran.”

Yes, the above shocking statements are in Khomeini’s book. Yet, it is the firm belief of the Muslims that the Holy Quran is the direct Word of Almighty Allah. The Holy Quran has been protected from any type of changes, removals and additions of verses or increase in volume, by Almighty Allah Himself.

But, in the corrupt Shia propagation of Islam, the present day Quran is accepted as a changed version like the Tauraat and the Bible. And according to Mr. Khomeini, the Sahaba-i-Kiraam of Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) had prevented the entire world from gaining access to the original Quran. MA’AAZALLAH! Allah forbid!

The Shia’ite belief on the Quran even insults the glorious Khulafa-e-Rashideen, whose names are mentioned from the mimbars of every Masjid in the Khutbah in every Jummah; those two Khulafa (Hazrat Abu Bakr and Hazrat Umar) who are resting alongside of Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) under the Green Dome; and those upon whom thousands of Muslims around the world send their Tribute and Salaams.

Sayyiduna Ali (radi Allahu anhu) himself makes mention of the great service that Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique (radi Allahu anhu) had provided to the Holy Quran. In the introduction of “FATHUL BARI” and “KANZUL A’MAL” appears a narration of Ibne Mubarak that Hazrat Ali (radi Allahu anhu) stated that:

“In the service (compilation) of heavenly books (MASAAHIF), Hazrat Abu Bakr (radi Allahu anhu) would receive the greatest reward. May Allah’s Mercy be on Abu Bakr (radi Allahu anhu). He was the first person to have started the compilation of the Holy Quran (Kitabullah).”

Issue # 1

Apparently, it is not forbidden to operate on sex change, man to woman and the opposite. Like wise it is not forbidden to operate on bisexual to change him to either of the sexes.

If a woman changes her sex to man will she become mahram to her son’s wife like father or not? It’s not far away from paradox. And if father changes his sex, will he in state of his womanhood be a mahram to his sons even if he were not in the position to be called their mother? The apparent is like that. And if daughter-in-law changed her sex and became a man will she became mahram for her mother-in-law? It’s not far away from paradox.

The supplication of the Two Idols of Quraysh

“O’ Allah, sal ala Muhamed wa ala aal Muhamed and curse the two idols of Quraysh (Abu Bakr and Omar), its (Quraysh’s) two sorcerers, its two tyrants, its two liars, and their two daughters (Aysha and Hafsah) who (Abu Bakr and Omar) disagreed with your order, denied your revelation, rejected your goodness, disobeyed your messenger, altered your religion, tampered (harafa) with your Book (Al-Quran), loved your enemy, rejected your lovers, suspended your verdicts, invalidated your orders, did not believe in your proves, antagonized your lovers, patronized your foes, ruined your country, and corrupted your slaves, O’ Allah curse them both, their followers, their lovers, their people, their adherents, their partisans, their disciples ………….”

Maloon Khomeini approved this cursed supplication in the book called Tuhfat Al-Owam Maqbool.

لا يتمتع على العمة ببنت أخيها ، و لا على الخالة ببنت أختها إلا بإذنهما أو إجازتهما ، و كذا لا يجمع بين الاختين .

Issue # 4
It is not permissible for a man to contract mut’ah with nieces (daughter of brother & daughter of sister) of his wife except with their (aunties) consent or permission, and likewise should not combine between two sisters.

إن الذين لم يكن لهم ارتباط بالإسلام والقرآن إلا لأجل الرئاسة والدنيا ، و كانوا يجعلون القرآن وسيلة لمقاصدهم الفاسدة ، كان من الممكن أن يحرفوا هذا الكتاب السماوي في حالة ذكر اسم الإمام في القرآن و أن يمسحوا هذه الآيات منه و أن يلصقوا وصمة العار هذه على حياة المسلمين

Those (referring to sahaba) who had no attachment with Islam and Qur’an except for sake of Leadership and the World, and used to make Qur’an a means for their corrupt goals, it was possible for them to alter this Heavenly Book (Qur’an) whenever the name of Imam in Qur’an was mentioned, and erase those verses and attach stigma and shame on the lives of muslims.

“All prophets came for the purpose of laying down the foundation of justice in the world, but they failed to do so; even Prophet Muhammad, the last of the Prophets who came to reform mankind and to apply justice failed too. The person who will succeed in all this and in laying down the foundation of justice in the world at all levels, and redressing the wrong is the expected mahdi…”

Khomeini reviling the two shaikhs and imputing to them disbelief and apostasy, and accusing them of violating the Qur’aan willfully and ignorantly, and imputing to them foolishness and tyranny

“We are not dealing, at this point, with the two shaikhs, or with whatever violations they committed against the Qur’aan, tampered with the commands of Allaah, declared things lawful and things unlawful on their own accord, practiced oppression against Fatimah, the daughter of the Prophet and her sons. But we want to point out their ignorance of the commands of Allaah and the religion. People like those ignorant fools, hobos and tyrants were not fit to be in the office of Imamate, nor to be included among the people of authority.”

The liar further asserts: “It is quite obvious from all that has preceded that the violations of the two shaikhs against the Qur’aan were not of great importance to the Muslims. That is because they were either in the party of the two shaikhs and supportive of them or against them, but did not dare to say a thing to those who treated the Messenger of Allaah and his daughter the way they did. Even if one of the opposition was to say something, his words would pass unattended to, even if these issues were mentioned in the Qur’aan. Those two would not have refrained from their way, nor would have they abdicated their office.”

Also the zindiq khomeini says: “The actions of Umar issued forth from disbelief and heresies and the violations of verse mentioned in the Qur’aan.”

It’s a book written by Ex-Shia Scholar, a highly educated and respected Scholar who was a close student of Khomeni (Laeen).

As we all know the shias are very secretive in nature cause of the filth they have.

They have fabricated a lot of hadiths to keep their members alert and never leak any information from their religion that will damage their foundation. For example this Hadith which says “You belong to a religion that whosoever conceals it Allah will honor him; whoever reveals it Allah will disgrace and humiliate him”

But if someone is Guided? Then what will be the case? Will he keep his Ex-religion’s teaching in secret? No.

لما كان الإمام الخميني مقيماً في العراق كنا نتردد إليه ونطلب منه العلم حتى صارت علاقتنا معه وثيقة جداً، وقد اتفق مرة أن وجهت إليه دعوة من مدينة تلعفر وهي
مدينة تقع غرب الموصل على مسيرة ساعة ونصف تقريباً بالسيارة، فطلبني للسفر معه فسافرت معه، فاستقبلونا وأكرمونا غاية الكرم مدة بقائنا عند إحدى العوائل الشيعية المقيمة هناك، وقد قطعوا عهداً بنشر التشيع في تلك الأرجاء وما زالوا يحتفظون بصورة تذكارية لنا تم تصويرها في دارهم.
ولما انتهت مدة السفر رجعنا، وفي طريق عودتنا ومرورنا في بغداد أراد الإمام أن نرتاح من عناء السفر، فأمر بالتوجه إلى منطقة العطيفية حيث يسكن هناك رجل إيراني الأصل يقال له سيد صاحب، كانت بينه وبين الإمام معرفة قوية.
فرح سيد صاحب بمجيئنا، وكان وصولنا إليه عند الظهر، فصنع لنا غداء فاخراً واتصل ببعض أقاربه فحضروا وازدحم منـزله احتفاء بنا، وطلب سيد صاحب إلينا المبيت عنده تلك الليلة فوافق الإمام، ثم لما كان العشاء أتونا بالعشاء، وكان الحاضرون يقبلون يد الإمام ويسألونه ويجيب عن أسئلتهم، ولما حان وقت النوم وكان الحاضرون قد انصرفوا إلا أهل الدار، أبصر الإمام الخميني صبية بعمر أربع سنوات أو خمس ولكنها جميلة جداً، فطلب الإمام من أبيها سيد صاحب إحضارها للتمتع بـها فوافق أبوها بفرح بالغ، فبات الإمام الخميني والصبية في حضنه ونحن نسمع بكاءها وصريخها.
المهم أنه أمضى تلك الليلة فلما أصبح الصباح وجلسنا لتناول الإفطار نظر إلي فوجد علامات الإنكار واضحة في وجهي؛ إذ كيف يتمتع بـهذه الطفلة الصغيرة وفي الدار شابات بالغات راشدات كان بإمكانه التمتع بإحداهن فلم يفعل؟
فقال لي: سيد حسين ما تقول في التمتع بالطفلة؟
قلت له: سيد القول قولك، والصواب فعلك، وأنت إمام مجتهد، ولا يمكن لمثلي أن يرى أو يقول إلا ما تراه أنت أو تقوله، -ومعلوم أني لا يمكنني الاعتراض وقتذاك-.
فقال: سيد حسين؛ إن التمتع بـها جائز ولكن بالمداعبة والتقبيل والتفخيذ.
أما الجماع فإنـها لا تقوى عليه.
وكان الإمام الخميني يرى جواز التمتع حتى بالرضيعة فقال: (لا بأس بالتمتع بالرضيعة ضماً وتفخيذاً -أي يضع ذكره بين فخذيها- وتقبيلاً) انظر كتابه (تحرير الوسيلة 2/241 مسألة رقم 12).

“When Khomeini was staying in Iraq, we used to visit him daily asking for knowledge until our relationship grew stronger. And once Khomeini received an invitation from a far away place and asked me to join him in his journey and I agreed. When we reached there they received us with a very warm welcome and then on our way back the Imam (Laeen Khomeini) said that we will stop in Baghdad and order us to head towards a place called ‘Etaifeya’ [sorry if the spelling is wrong] where an Iranian man stayed, whose name was Sayed Saheb. This man and Khomeini had a strong friendly relation. The man was very happy with this surprise visit by Khomeini. The time was mid afternoon and the man prepared launch and telephoned some of his close relatives. The house was full of people who came to see Khomeini. The man asked Khomeini to spend the night with him, and Khomeini agreed. And when it was time for dinner they came to us with the dinner and all of them were kissing the hand of Khomeini and asking him questions. And when it was time to sleep all the people left except the people of the house i.e. family of Sayed Saheb. Khomeini saw a small girl, daughter of Sayed Saheb whose age was just four years and she was very pretty. Khomeini asked Sayed Saheb to bring her to his room for mut’ah ignoring the fact that there were big girls in the house. To my surprise the father agreed with over whelming joy on his face. Khomeini took away the girl to his room and all that night we could hear the awful cry of that small child from the room. And when it was morning we all sat on the table to have breakfast. Khomeini could clearly see signs of disagreement on my face of what took place the last night. He then asked me “O! Sayed Hussain what do you say about mut’ah with a child?” I said “O! Imam the answer will be your answer and I am just a student (as I could not openly criticize him at that time). Khomeini then answered that it is okay to have mut’ah with small child but one can only play with her by touching her private parts and kissing and putting his private part in-between her thighs but should be careful not to put it in the vagina as they cannot withstand that.

وبعد أن كبرت البنت وصارت شابة جميلة متأهلة للزواج، اكتشفت الأم أن ابنتها حبلى، فلما سألتها عن سبب حملها، أخبرتـها البنت أن السيد المذكور استمتع بـها فحملت منه، فدهشت الأم وفقدت صوابـها، إذ أخبرت ابنتها أن هذا السيد هو أبوها وأخبرتـها القصة، فكيف يتمتع بالأم واليوم يأتي ليتمتع بابنتها التي هي ابنته هو؟
ثم جاءتني مستفسرة عن موقف السيد المذكور منها ومن ابنتها التي ولدتـها منه.
إن الحوادث من هذا النوع كثيرة جداً، فقد تمتع أحدهم بفتاة تبين له فيما بعد أنـها أخته من المتعة، ومنهم من تمتع بامرأة أبيه.
TRANSLATED

A women came to me to tell me about an incident that had occured with her. She explained to me that one of the Shia Scholar (Sayed Hussein Al-Sader) had mut’ah with her more than 20 years ago and she became pregnant from him. And when he had satisfied his desire from her he departured to some other place (propably to have mut’ah with other women). And after some time she gave birth to a baby girl (a fatherless child, illegitimate in the eyes of the world). She swore to me that the child was from this Sayed (Sayed Hussein Al-Sader) as she never had mut’ah at that time except from him (Allah knows with how many men she had sex? There is no difference between her and a prostitute, may be a prostitute is better cause she doesn’t do it in the name of religion but for money).

And she continued on and said that the child grew up to be a very beautiful women ready to be married away. But to her suprised she discovered that she was pregnant and when she ask her from whom she answered from Sayed Hussein Al-Sader ( Her illegal father).

وأعجب من أهل البيت سلام الله عليهم على كثرة ما لقوه من أذى من أهل الكوفة وعلى عظيم صبرهم على أهل الكوفة مركز الشيعة، على خيانتهم لهم وغدرهم بـهم وقتلهم لهم وسلبهم أموالهم، وصبر أهل البيت على هذا كله، ومع هذا نلقي باللائمة على أهل السنة ونحملهم المسؤولية!.
وعندما نقرأ في كتبنا المعتبرة نجد فيها عجباً عجاباً، قد لا يصدق أحدنا إذا قلنا: إن كتبنا معاشر الشيعة -تطعن بأهل البيت عليهم السلام وتطعن بالنبي صلى الله عليه وآله- وإليك البيان:
عن أمير المؤمنين عليه السلام إن غُفيراً -حمار رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله- قال له: بأبي أنت وأمي -يا رسول الله- إن أبي حدثني عن أبيه عن جده عن أبيه: (أنه كان مع نوح في السفينة، فقام إليه نوح فمسح على كفله ثم قال: يخرج من صلب هذا الحمار حمار يركبه سيد النبيين وخاتمهم، فالحمد لله الذي جعلني ذلك الحمار) (أصول الكافي 1/237(.
وهذه الرواية تفيدنا بما يأتي:
1- الحمار يتكلم!
2- الحمار يخاطب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله بقوله: فداك أبي وأمي!، مع أن المسلمين هم الذين يفدون رسول الله صلوات الله عليه بآبائهم وأمهاتـهم لا الحمير.
3- الحمار يقول: (حدثني أبي عن جدي إلى جده الرابع!) مع أن بين نوح ومحمد ألوفاً من السنين، بينما يقول الحمار أن جده الرابع كان مع نوح في السفينة. كنا نقرأ أصول الكافي مرة مع بعض طلبة الحوزة في النجف على الإمام الخوئي فرد الإمام الخوئي قائلاً:
انظروا إلى هذه المعجزة، نوح سلام الله عليه يخبر بمحمد عليه السلام وبنبوته قبل ولادته بألوف السنين.
بقيت كلمات الإمام الخوئي تتردد في مسمعي مدة وأنا أقول في نفسي:
وكيف يمكن أن تكون هذه معجزة وفيها حمار يقول لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله: بأبي أنت وأمي؟! وكيف يمكن لأمير المؤمنين سلام الله عليه أن ينقل مثل هذه الرواية؟!.
لكني سكت كما سكت غيري من السامعين.

“Welcome Mister Khomeini.” The grandson of Iran’s late revolutionary leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini is warmly greeted as he arrives for an appearance at a conservative Washington think-tank.

Facing journalists and researchers in dark suits, Hossein Khomeini, dressed in a traditional white jacket and black turban, took easily to the question-and-answer routine.

“Do you think that Iran today holds an atomic weapon?” fired an Iranian-American journalist in Farsi.

Khomeini’s piercing eyes darkened as his eyebrow furrowed.

“I have no specific information. But it is such a troublemaker regime that I won’t be surprised. And if they don’t have it now, they will have it in the future, I have no doubt about it,” he said, running his finger along his beard, which is not yet as thick as his grandfather’s.

He spoke softly, but still set the tone for 90 minutes of relentless criticism of the Islamic regime in his country.

Hossein Khomeini, a well-educated Shiite Muslim steeped in Western philosophy, had been asked by the ayatollah to keep quiet with his ideas for a true democracy in Iran.

But after his grandfather and his uncle Ahmad died, Hossein received threats and lived in isolation in the holy city of Qom, until he decided to flee across the border with Iraq.

“Under the shah, at least, religious practice was free. Today, after the revolution, Iran is one of the worst dictatorships,” he said, running his fingers along his prayer beads.

Khomeini welcomed the US-led invasion of Iraq, which he said had made it a “free country,” and called on US President George W. Bush to intervene in Iran and install a “true democracy.”

Iran is intervening now in Iraqi territory, and maybe it will force the United States to intervene in Iran too,” said Khomeini, who has lived in Iraq for several months.

“Mr. Bush should act like Churchill when he gathered around him the British population to fight against Hitler,” he said, before singing the praises of Western democracy and its “indispensable” freedoms of thought and of religion.

Another question, this time about terrorist groups backed by Iran, particularly Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in the Palestinian territories.

“So many questions, I hope it won’t last until tomorrow morning,” he said with barely perceptible smile.

But he doesn’t dodge the question.

“No Muslim should be allowed to have such activities,” he said. “Unfortunately, Iran is a long supporter of terrorism. This regime is one of the most active supporters of terrorism.”

The moderator moved to close the gathering.

“I never thought I’d introduce a Khomeini here, in Washington DC,” he said.

Before leaving, Khomeini wished a “happy new year” to his surprised host.

“The Jewish New Year,” explained the translator.

In Tehran, a government spokesman on Monday said Khomeini was free to say whatever he wished.

“All Iranian citizens, inside or outside Iran, can express themselves freely if they have something to say about the government, which is what he (Khomeini) has done,” government spokesman Abdollah Ramazanzadeh said

The fall of Tabriz in 1501 before the advancing forces of Shah Isma‘il Safawi marked the beginning of a new era in Iranian history. The land of Persia, whose population up to that time had been mainly Sunni, was now beginning to be transformed into a Shi‘ite homeland. Suppression of the Sunni Iranians was swift and merciless. The Sunni ‘ulama and Sufis were specifically targetted for persecution. Many preferred exile to certain death, and with the extermination and exodus of their ‘ulama the Ahl as-Sunnah in Iran lost the leadership capable of maintaining their ‘Aqidah as the dominant creed of the land. Thus the time-honoured Persian tradition of Sunni learning and spirituality that started with the likes of Ibrahim ibn Adham, ‘Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak and Abu Dawud of Sijistan, and was sustained by men like al-Ghazali, ar-Razi and ‘Abd al-Qadir of Jilan, came to a horrendous end in the relentless persecution of the Safawids.

Two and and a half centuries of Safawid rule ensured the supremacy of the Shi‘ite faith in Iran. For a country that once barely had a single Shi‘i ‘alim, Iran soon had a powerful clergy, the result of large-scale immigration from Jabal ‘Amil in Lebanon, and from Bahrayn. Soon real power in Iran came to be vested in the clergy. It was they who held Nadir Shah’s eclecticism of the 18th century in check. In the 19th century they demonstrated their immense authority over the Iranian masses in the Tobacco Revolution. In the 20th century clerical power in Iran finally reached its zenith when the revolution of 1979 turned Ayatullah Ruhullah Khomeini’s theory of Wilayat al-Faqih into the foundation of government in Iran.

The Shi‘ite clergy of modern Iran have proven themselves worthy heirs to the bigoted clergy of Safawid times. Once again it was the ‘ulama of the Ahl as-Sunnah who became the target of their persecution. Through a careful media cover-up the state has succeeded in keeping much of this out of the international news. Yet Allah willed that some of it should filter out so that those who are concerned about the fate of the Ahl as-Sunnah in Iran may have some type of an idea about what hardship Iranian Sunnis are being subjected to.

When the Safawids started their extermination of the Ahl as-Sunnah in the sixteenth century, part of the tragedy was that the names most of those Sunni men of learning and piety who were murdered were lost for posterity. Reading a biographical source which covers the period, like Shadharat adh-Dhahab of Ibn al-‘Imad, one is struck by the sudden decrease, and then almost complete disappearance of prominent Sunni men of letters from Iran that coincides with the Safawid rise to power. Some, like Mulla ‘Ali al-Qari who was from Herat in present-day Afghanistan could rise to prominence only because his family fled their homeland to settle in Makkah, where he grew up. Today, with the tragedy repeating itself, and Sunnis once again becoming open prey to the bloodlust of the Shi‘ah, it is our duty to preserve the memory of those slain or imprisoned for the sake of their ‘Aqidah. The government in Tehran sees to the preservation of the memories of its own martyrs. Sunnis, it seems, will have to see to our own.

Here follows a list of prominent Iranian Sunnis who were killed, exiled or imprisoned during the two decades since the revolution:

1. Ahmad Muftizadeh

Ahmad Muftizadeh was a prominent Sunni Shafi‘i leader of Kurdistan, and was widely regarded as one of the most influential Sunni personalities in Iran. Eighteen months before the revolution contact was established between him and the exiled Khomeini in Iraq. An exchange of correspondence ensued, in which Muftizadeh offered his advice to Khomeini. The letters were carried by Khomeini’s associates passing through Sanandaj in Kurdistan, where Muftizadeh had his headquarters, on their way to Iraq. Muftizadeh was able to convince the Sunnis of not only Kurdistan, but also other parts of Iran, of the necessity of siding with Khomeini against the Shah. When the revolution came and the Shah fled the country, the Ahl as-Sunnah in Iran rejoiced as much as the Shi‘ah, in the earnest belief that the revolution would bring an end to the socio-economic deprivation from which they suffered.

However, no sooner had the revolution succeeded than tanks started rolling into Kurdistan. The Kurdish Democratic Party, a group with Marxist leanings, had been demanding Kurdish independence even in the time of the Shah. Khomeini’s forces, under the pretext of suppressing KDP activities, started attacking Kurdish villages. In the time before the revolution Muftizadeh had been strongly advising his people against the secessionism of the Marxist KDP, and urging them to side with Khomeini’s revolution. This was of no advantage to them. Eye witnesses describing the attacks recalled the soldiers yelling things like “Show no mercy to the offspring of ‘ Umar, ‘ Uthman and Mu‘awiyah!”. Still Muftizadeh advised patience and discouraged armed resistance.

It was expected that Muftizadeh, due to his popularity, and more importantly on account of his unreserved support for Khomeini would be appointed Khomeini’s representative in the Sunni-majority province of Kurdistan. Instead, Khomeini appointed one Safdari, a man with no popular support, and whose single qualification for the post was the fact that he was a Shi‘i. The people of Sanadaj in Kurdistan responded violently when Safdari and his proté gé s fired at a protesting crowd. Safdari had to escape, and the members of his committee were shot by the townspeople in revenge.

With Khomeini thus making his intentions for Kurdistan clear, Muftizadeh saw no option but to resign from the consultative body of which he had been a member and founded the Central Consultative Council for the Ahl as-Sunnah (Majlis ash-Shura al-Markazi li-Ahl as-Sunnah). On the 10th of Dhul Qa‘dah 1404 (1984) he was arrested. He was kept in prison for over ten years. He reportedly suffered much torture during his imprisonment. Just two weeks after his release from prison, he died.

2. Mawlana ‘Abd al-‘Aziz Mullazadeh

Mawlana ‘Abd al-‘Aziz was the Hanafi mufti of Baluchistan, and the undisputed leader of the Sunni Baluchis. In the early days of the revolution he used to deliver pro-Khomeini khutbas in Zahedan, the capital of Baluchistan, believing, as did Muftizadeh and others, that the new leaders of Iran would be true to their promises of bringing to an end the misery in which Sunni-populated areas like Kurdistan and Baluchistan were left by the Shah. The pan-Islamist rhetoric of Khomeini removed any concerns of a sectarian nature that they might have had. However, when the clampdown upon the Ahl as-Sunnah started, and the anti-Sunni policies of the government came to light, Mawlana ‘Abd al-‘Aziz was forced to withdraw his support. Not very long after he did so he died in what has been described as “suspicious circumstances”. Among the anti-Sunni policies of the Tehran regime was the settling of large groups of Shi‘ah in predominantly Sunni areas. In Mawlana ‘Abd al-‘Aziz’s hometown of Zahedan, that was a completely Sunni city before the revolution, the Ahl as-Sunnah soon found themselves in a minority.

3. Shaykh ‘Uthmaan Siraj ad-Din

Shaykh ‘Uthman Siraj ad-Din was the shaykh of the Naqshbandi Sufi tariqah in Iran at the advent of the revolution. Not long after the revolution he was forced into exile. The exile of this man constitutes another point of resemblance between Khomeini’s takeover of Iran, and that of Shah Isma‘il in the 16th century. After the latter’s conquest of Iran the Naqshbandi tariqah was the first Sunni Sufi tariqah to be persecuted, probably on account of its staunch Sunnism, and the fact that unlike most other tariqas it is connected to Rasulullah sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam through Sayyiduna Abu Bakr radiyallahu ‘anhu. Four centuries ago Mulla Baqir Majlisi could gleefully boast of having ” rid the land of Persia of every Naqshbandi dervish” ; today the Iranian regime has driven the shaykh of the same tariqah into exile.

4. Shaykh Muhy ad-Din

This Sunni ‘alim from Khurasan was detained for a number of years, after which he was sent to Isfahan in exile for two years. In Ramadan this year (1997) he was in exile in Baluchistan.

5. Shaykh Ibrahim Safizadeh

Three years ago this graduate of Imam Muhammad ibn Sa‘ud University in Saudi Arabia was viciously assaulted on charges of being a Wahhabi. After being beaten 70 lashes in the middle of the bazaar he was incarcerated. He was sentenced to 7 years in prison.

6. Maulana Nazr Muhammad Baluchi

He used to be a member of Parliament. During Khomeini’s time he was imprisoned for two years during which he was subjected to torture. Under torture a confession of being a spy for Iraq and Israel was forced out of him. After his release from prison he left Iran for Pakistan, where he now lives.

7. Maulana Dost Muhammad Baluchi

After spending two years in Khomeini’s prisons, he was exiled to Isfahan.

8. Sayyid ‘Abd al-Ba‘ith Qatta’i

This imam and khatib of a Sunni masjid in Bandar Khamir, and principal of a Sunni seminary, was arrested by the Revolutionary Guard and sent into forced military conscription.

9. Mawlawi Ibrahim Damani

An ‘alim from Baluchistan. He was imprisoned at least three times. In Ramadan this year he was still serving a prison sentence.

10. Shaykh ‘Abd al-Majid

12. Shaykh Ahmad Narawi

All three the above were teachers in a Sunni religious madrasah in the town of Zahedan, the capital of Baluchistan. They were arrested and imprisoned without charges.

14. Mawlana ‘Abd al-Ghani Shaykh Jami

15. Maulana Sayyid Ahmad Husayni

16. Maulana ‘Abd al-Baqi Shirani

17. Maulana Jawanshir Rawadi

The above were all imprisoned.

20. Maulana ‘Abd al-Malik Mullazadeh

Mawlana ‘Abd al-Malik was the son of Mawlana ‘Abd al-‘Aziz Mullazadeh. After his father’s death he succeeded him as the Sunni leader of Baluchistan. At the time of his death he was living in exile in Paksitan. On the 4th of February 1996, as he was leaving the house in which he was staying in Karachi, he was gunned down by men believed to be Iranian operatives in Pakistan. An associate, ‘Abd an-Nasir Jamshidzahi was gunned down with him. A Pakistani woman was also injured in the attack.

21. Shaykh ‘Abd an-Nasir Jamshidzahi

This young ‘alim was also murdered in the attack on Mawlana ‘Abd al-Malik in Karachi. He was a graduate of the University of Damascus, and was working as a lecturer at the University of Islamic Studies (Jami‘at ad-Dirasat al-Islamiyyah) in
